She’s ELLAINE GUARIN DE LUNA and most of the people close to her calls her by the nickname “YIN“. She was born on the 12th day of September 1994 and she hails from a small town called Paete, found in the province of Laguna in the Philippines. She currently works as a digital creative in the advertising industry, focusing mainly on writing and social media management. She also does a lot of freelancing on the side because if she relies on her salary alone, with the kind of life she wishes to live, she wouldn’t survive. She’s a boss to two younger brothers and a princess to her parents.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the Lyceum of the Philippines University – Laguna and is still currently persuading herself to continue further studies. She loves to eat a lot and her favorite food is pasta and pizza. She adores her grandmothers’ cooking a lot. She is also a bookworm and her favorite author is Nicholas Sparks, although recently, she also fell in love with Jenny Han. She loves binge-watching Netflix series and she can sleep for 12 hours straight.
She’s plus-sized and even with a lot of people telling her that she’ll look better thinner, she wouldn’t just go on a diet and tire herself from exercising. She’s fat but that doesn’t mean she is not healthy. She loves her many curves and still wears bikinis and cropped top whenever she likes. She’s also a huge sucker for cosmetics and as of writing, she owns 37 lipsticks with almost the same shade but who cares blood red is not wine red, right? The cruel world will not stop this woman from being confident because she believes that confidence is the only thing that no one can ever take away from her, apart from education of course.
She will be able to travel the world one day, and she’s starting to do that. However, she knows her responsibilities and she’s not gonna spend every single penny to book a hotel or score an airfare. She loves spontaneous adventures but she believes that a trip should be well-planned in order to enjoy it fully.
She is an advocate for stopping the stigma of mental health illness because once in her life, she knew what it felt like to be suicidal and she would love to help other people get over this phase in their lives too just like she did, or simply be there for people.
She’s in a love-hate relationship with a fellow writer named Patrick, whom she’s been with since 29th November 2010 and they’re actually enjoying arguing over a lot of things.
She’s blind without her eyeglasses and she hates wet roads and bell peppers.
